Throne of Glass Book 1 by Sarah J Mass | A Review

There is a lot of hype around ACOTAR series which I don't know why or maybe I do. The books are good but there are better series written by the said author for example Throne of Glass series. This series is a masterpiece containing all the elements of the High fantasy genre.  Here is the GoodReads description of the first book; In a land without magic, where the king rules with an iron hand, an assassin is summoned to the castle. She comes not to kill the king, but to win her freedom. If she defeats twenty-three killers, thieves, and warriors in a competition, she is released from prison to serve as the king's champion. Her name is Celaena Sardothien. The Crown Prince will provoke her. The Captain of the Guard will protect her. But something evil dwells in the castle of glass—and it's there to kill. When her competitors start dying one by one, Celaena's fight for freedom becomes a fight for survival, and a desperate quest to root out the evil before it destroys her worl

Reparation | Book 3 of The Kane Trilogy by Stylo Fantome | A Review

This is the 3rd book in   The Kane Trilogy   written by   Stylo Fantome . An awesome end to this wholesome series. here is the Goodreads description;  But a persistent Jameson, a meddling Sanders, and an amorous baseball player make it very hard for a girl to keep her focus, and suddenly it seems Tate has a few too many suitors for her fairy tale ending. Sometimes, it's very difficult to tell who Prince Charming really is ... Genre Dark Contemporary Romance Theme and Tone Dark Romance Vibes Language and Writing Style Mature, funny, and very well-written Tropes Contemporary Misunderstandings Miscommunication Love-Hate Relationship My Review I will try to review the book without any spoilers. The finale of Tatum and Jameson's story is cute, amazing, beautiful, and wholesome. The banter between the two is to die for. We get to see more of Sanders in this book. He acts like a mature reasonable person keeping all the retarded (Tatum and Jameson) in line. His efforts do pay off in t

Separation | Book 2 of The Kane Trilogy by Stylo Fantome | A Review

This is the second book in The Kane Trilogy written by Stylo Fantome . I reread this series this month and here I am writing the review for the second book. This is the Goodreads description of the series. Everything is fun and games until someone gets hurt, and what Jameson Kane did to Tatum O'Shea goes so far beyond hurt, he is well into the realm of unforgivable. Tate says she wants him gone for good, and he quickly learns that the old saying, “you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone” , is most definitely true. But Jameson has never been very good at following instructions, and when Satan decides to seek redemption, he'll go to great lengths to get it. He proposes one last game – one to end them all, if she agrees to play. He is very confident that he can win, but Tate warns him that it's not possible; she will not lose again. Little does she know, Jameson is prepared to do whatever it takes. Prepared to lay the entire world at her feet. Prepared

Degradation | Book 1 of The Kane Trilogy by Stylo Fantome | A Review

Some books feel like home. Maybe because we get too comfortable reading to or because we relate with characters so much that it doesn't feel like we are treading on foreign territory. The Kane trilogy is something like that for me. This book series has impacted me deeply and I still don't know the exact reason why.  If you want you can buy the  full set here on kindle. The series is written by Stylo Fantome . There are five books in the series; Degradation , Separation , and  Reparation , are the main trilogy.   Completion  and  Reception  are short novellas. Every once in a while I drift back to this series and start reading it. I relate to many things Tatum(FMC) represents and I have been in love with Jameson for like forever (MMC). He is the most perfect MMC a book could have 😅.  Here is the GoodReads description of the first book in the series from where the story starts.   Eighteen-year-old Tatum O'Shea is a naive, shy, little rich girl. Twenty-three-year-old Jameson

New Enemies to Lovers Dark Romance in Town | Plug and Claim by Darcy Fayton

I got this book from Netgalley . This is the first book of the Duology written by Darcy Fayton . I wish to thank the author for allowing me to read this book. This book was an amazing read but there are trigger warnings so proceed with caution. Here is the book description on Goodreads. Plug and Claim is a steamy Paranormal Academy Dark Romance with BDSM and is Book 1 of the Plug and Claim duology .  Haunted by her dark past, nineteen-year-old wolf shifter Kira enrolls in Volmasque Academy with a single goal: to unite the wolf packs and overthrow their vampire oppressors. Little does she know that she's caught the attention of a dangerous enemy, one who would kill her if he discovered her secret . Nathaniel, a powerful vampire with an icy heart, humiliates Kira in order to claim her for himself. He expects her to sit, and stay, and wear a plug like a good pet. The Awakening | Zodiac Academy Series written by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti | A Book Review

Alright, here I am, sharing my thoughts on the first book The Awakening from Zodiac Academy series written by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti . I decided to start reviewing this series as it falls under the 'enemies to lovers ' and 'bullies romance' genres, which are right up my alley. I'm a sucker for this type of book and I am always on the hunt for such books. Someone made a video of this book on TikTok and I was like I had to read it. So, I began reading the book and I fell into a rabbit hole of Magic Academy, hot assholes, and alternative Fae world. It felt like diving into a more mature version of Harry Potter. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this first installment. My Review of Gold Book 5 of the Plated Prisoner Series written by Raven Kennedy

I am having a mixed feeling right now. I just finished reading this 5th book in the series and I am......well, I don't know what I feel. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. It made me feel things.....things I have long forgotten....things people write books about.....I am rambling again but this is my mental state at this point....this is all due to Raven Kennedy and her books. I found this book series from booktok last year. It was not very popular but someone recommended reading it and when I read the series......omg 🤌🤌. The book is a retelling of King Midas and his golden touch but there is a twist in this book.....King Midas is a fraud in this book and he is keeping a girl prisoner who has the golden touch.   Here is the synopsis;  "Find me in another life. Find me in them all." Every end is also a beginning. I thought I was going to die, and would have if it weren’t for Slade. The only way he could save me was to open a rip between worlds. The only way for me

Where is Molly by H.D Carlton | A Review

Where is Molly is a stand alone book written by H.D Carlton. It is set in the Universe of Haunting Adeline. The story revolves around Molly...the girl we found in Hunting Adeline. Her diary was founded by Adeline under the floor and us readers always wanted to know if she succeeded in running away from that awful place.  Blurb A spinoff of the Cat & Mouse Duet... “Molly Devereaux has been missing for more than two weeks, and police are still searching for the girl who seemed to vanish out of thin air. The world still wants to know... Where's Molly?” In my dreams, I never escaped the Oregon woods. Life after death isn't easy to accept, especially when I still feel like a ghost. Now, I live deep in the mountains of Montana—the paradigm of beauty. But they are also the home of horrors. Horrors that I only unleash at night. When my pigs are allowed to feast. It is strongly recommended to read Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline before reading Where's Molly. Important No

Lightlark by Alex Aster | A Book Review

A Fellow booktoker recommended me this book. She talks about it all the time and makes really catchy videos featuring this Duology. I got interested and purchased this book. Lightlark is the first book in the series written by Alex Aster. I got to know some pretty interesting facts about the Author and how this book was published. You should learn it too this is not my story to tell 😅. Anyhow I started reading this book in March and finished it one week. Somehow I got late in writing and reviewed all the books I read in March. So now I am starting again. This is the brief of this book on Goodreads; Welcome to the Centennial. Every 100 years, the island of Lightlark appears to host the Centennial, a deadly game that only the rulers of six realms are invited to play. The invitation is a summons—a call to embrace victory and ruin, baubles and blood. The Centennial offers the six rulers one final chance to break the curses that have plagued their realms for centuries. Each ruler has somet

A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber | A Book Review

This is the third book in the Once Upon a Broken Heart series . I would say a good conclusion to the series. I was not expecting things to happen in this book but it fills with twists and turns. this is the description of this book; Two villains, one girl, and a deadly battle for happily ever after. Evangeline Fox ventured to the Magnificent North in search of her happy ending, and it seems as if she has it. She’s married to a handsome prince and lives in a legendary castle. But Evangeline has no idea of the devastating price she’s paid for this fairytale. She doesn’t know what she has lost, and her husband is determined to make sure she never finds out . . . but first he must kill Jacks, the Prince of Hearts.
