So today I am writing this blog post to review Lords of the Hunt Book 1 in the series of Wild Fae. This series is written by Kate King. I have recently discovered her and really liked her writing. This series hooked me from book 1. So let's go on journey of this amazing world of Wild Fae!!!

Also I want to talk about the beautiful covers of this book. One is kindle edition and other one is paperback edition and both are just beautiful.

Blurb

Their games will change her. Their love will ruin her.

But in the kingdom of Elsewhere, the heir to the throne must defend their crown in the Wilde Hunts: A series of deadly trials where anyone may hunt down the new queen without consequence.

To survive her coronation, Lonnie must bargain with the ruthless fae princes she just dethroned. Prince Scion is arrogant, violent, and guards his own dark agenda. His cousin, Prince Bael, makes no secret of how much he hates Lonnie…but wants to strike a sinfully tempting deal.

MY REVIEW
This story gripped from this first book. The concept of the story the plot everything is just amazing. The story revolves around Lonnie(I don't like that name particularly). She is our FMC and she is a clever liar. Well, she has to be because she has to survive in a ruthless world of Fae and their hunt. So the story starts with her fooling around with a boy on the night of the hunt and she caught attention of the worst members of the Royal Family.

The hunt is kind of a game to chase the crown. Fae all over the realm participate in it and try to steal crown from the current king and the current king try to keep it safe. Whoever manages to have the crown and finishes the crossing line becomes king or queen. So Lonnie accidentally participates in it and kills the king and become queen....totally by accident. Now the real story starts.

She has to live in palace and face the royals. Name three princes who wants to unalive her and then wants to keep her close. I mean their is weird but awesome level of tension is going on in between Lonnie, Prince Bael and Prince Scion. The rest of story focused on how she is trying to survive within the palace and with no friends and no one to guide her.

There is as a matter of rebellion and the Rebel leader is seeking the queen out. But at this time of the story we do not know his identity and we do not know what he wants with her. There is a massive reveal in the last chapters and the book ends with a massive cliffhanger. haha....I cannot wait to dive head first in the next book.

There is no spice or anything romantic going on in this book....no wait......there is a little spice but I won't be spoiling it. The book on the whole is awesome. The world is amazing but ruthless, Fae are like worst of worst. Everyone in this first book is each other enemy...lol....but the slow burn and sexual tension is the best kind I have ever read. It's a 5 star read for me.

The Awakening | Zodiac Academy Series written by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti | A Book Review

Alright, here I am, sharing my thoughts on the first book The Awakening from Zodiac Academy series written by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti . I decided to start reviewing this series as it falls under the 'enemies to lovers ' and 'bullies romance' genres, which are right up my alley. I'm a sucker for this type of book and I am always on the hunt for such books. Someone made a video of this book on TikTok and I was like I had to read it. So, I began reading the book and I fell into a rabbit hole of Magic Academy, hot assholes, and alternative Fae world. It felt like diving into a more mature version of Harry Potter. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this first installment. My Review of Gold Book 5 of the Plated Prisoner Series written by Raven Kennedy

I am having a mixed feeling right now. I just finished reading this 5th book in the series and I am......well, I don't know what I feel. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. It made me feel things.....things I have long forgotten....things people write books about.....I am rambling again but this is my mental state at this point....this is all due to Raven Kennedy and her books. I found this book series from booktok last year. It was not very popular but someone recommended reading it and when I read the series......omg 🤌🤌. The book is a retelling of King Midas and his golden touch but there is a twist in this book.....King Midas is a fraud in this book and he is keeping a girl prisoner who has the golden touch.   Here is the synopsis;  "Find me in another life. Find me in them all." Every end is also a beginning. I thought I was going to die, and would have if it weren’t for Slade. The only way he could save me was to open a rip between worlds. The only way for me

Where is Molly by H.D Carlton | A Review

Where is Molly is a stand alone book written by H.D Carlton. It is set in the Universe of Haunting Adeline. The story revolves around Molly...the girl we found in Hunting Adeline. Her diary was founded by Adeline under the floor and us readers always wanted to know if she succeeded in running away from that awful place.  Blurb A spinoff of the Cat & Mouse Duet... “Molly Devereaux has been missing for more than two weeks, and police are still searching for the girl who seemed to vanish out of thin air. The world still wants to know... Where's Molly?” In my dreams, I never escaped the Oregon woods. Life after death isn't easy to accept, especially when I still feel like a ghost. Now, I live deep in the mountains of Montana—the paradigm of beauty. But they are also the home of horrors. Horrors that I only unleash at night. When my pigs are allowed to feast. It is strongly recommended to read Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline before reading Where's Molly. Important No

Lightlark by Alex Aster | A Book Review

A Fellow booktoker recommended me this book. She talks about it all the time and makes really catchy videos featuring this Duology. I got interested and purchased this book. Lightlark is the first book in the series written by Alex Aster. I got to know some pretty interesting facts about the Author and how this book was published. You should learn it too this is not my story to tell 😅. Anyhow I started reading this book in March and finished it one week. Somehow I got late in writing and reviewed all the books I read in March. So now I am starting again. This is the brief of this book on Goodreads; Welcome to the Centennial. Every 100 years, the island of Lightlark appears to host the Centennial, a deadly game that only the rulers of six realms are invited to play. The invitation is a summons—a call to embrace victory and ruin, baubles and blood. The Centennial offers the six rulers one final chance to break the curses that have plagued their realms for centuries. Each ruler has somet

A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber | A Book Review

This is the third book in the Once Upon a Broken Heart series . I would say a good conclusion to the series. I was not expecting things to happen in this book but it fills with twists and turns. this is the description of this book; Two villains, one girl, and a deadly battle for happily ever after. Evangeline Fox ventured to the Magnificent North in search of her happy ending, and it seems as if she has it. She’s married to a handsome prince and lives in a legendary castle. But Evangeline has no idea of the devastating price she’s paid for this fairytale. She doesn’t know what she has lost, and her husband is determined to make sure she never finds out . . . but first he must kill Jacks, the Prince of Hearts. Blood will be shed, hearts will be stolen, and true love will be put to the test in A Curse for True Love, the breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy.
