There are fantasy books you enjoy… and then there are fantasy books that permanently alter your brain chemistry.
Falling Kingdoms is the latter.
This is the series that made me fall hopelessly in love with fantasy. The first book came out in 2012, but I stumbled across it around 2014, when Book 3 had just been released. I devoured those first three books in record time, and then spent the next several years impatiently waiting for each new release like my life depended on it. Well it kinda did because I was so emotionally invested in those characters life (Spoiler Alert: Magnus was my favorite)
I went into this series expecting a cool magical fantasy like any normal kid who likes stories instead I got smacked in the face by every worst possible decision made at the worst possible time by these characters……lol…..fun times eh!!!
So here is my intro to one of the best series in Fantasy;
Three kingdoms. Four POVs. Approximately seventeen betrayals before breakfast. Parents competing for the Worst Guardian of the Year award. A family tree that desperately needs therapy. And enough political backstabbing to make Game of Thrones politely take notes.
Welcome to Mytica, where kingdoms are falling, trust is a myth, happiness has been discontinued, and every chapter ends with you whispering, “…well, that’s concerning.”
Happy Reading!!
